Low Investment Program of British Columbia - BCPNP Regional Pilot

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot, was launched in mid-March and was piloted for 2 years. This program allows applicants to start or run a new business in smaller communities of British Columbia with a lower investment amount. The communities must be less than 75,000 people and located more than 30 km from a larger city. The enrolled communities include Cariboo, Kootenay, Mainland/Southwest, Nechako, North Coast, Northeast, Thompson-Okanagan, Vancouver Island/Coast.

The amount of investment (CAD100,000) and personal net worth 
(CAD 300,000) required for this Regional Pilot Program is half of the BCPNP. ​This program is suitable for the applicant who looking for immigrating to British Columbia but hasn't sufficient net worth or wishes to invest less money to run a business.

After successfully running the business for at least 12 months, the applicant can submit a final report to BC PNP. When the BC PNP approves the final report, the applicant is eligible to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
