The Lowest Immigration Requirements in Australian- Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA)

Compared with other countries, Australia as a popular immigrant country, immigration requirements must be higher, while the Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is the lowest requirement for applicants in all current entrepreneur and skilled visas.  DAMA is an employer-guaranteed visa. In the form of a labour agreement, the local government determines the list of occupations and applications and requires the applicant to have the appropriate job in the application state or region to obtain the employer's guarantee and go to work.

Starting from 2019, the five-years Australian Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) has been in force in the Northern Territory. Those local employers can introduce skilled workers from overseas. The occupations are more extensive, mainly in the agriculture, hotel catering and tourism industries, as well as bakers, baristas, bus drivers, carpenters, and chefs etc. In a total of 117 occupations, most of the English and income requirements are reduced. In the meantime, the applicant is allowed to apply for the status of permanent resident of Australia after living in there for 3 years.

Last year, the application of the Australian Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (TSS) (Subclass: 482) has gradually declined (28%), the local corporate skilled staffs are seriously inadequated. Recently, DAMA extends to the Great South Coast Region.
Therefore, you can be less worry about in immigrating to Australia with high requirements! We believed that DAMA's low requirements, more extensive occupation list and lower English requirements will surely chase your Australian dream easier!
